Description:
The Coordinator of Christian Service coordinates all charitable outreach of the parish. The coordinator manages the Christian Service commission and brings parishioners together to care for those in need. This is a part-time non-benefited position.
- This is a 12 month position. Hours are flexible but never exceed 29 hours per week.)
- Continuing education, vacation, and time off for retreats are arranged with the Pastor
- Develop and administer budget for Christian Service and Share fund.
- Work with staff on collaborative ministry: attend staff meetings
- Assure legal and moral responsibilities of adult volunteers are provided for: background checks, Protecting God’s Children, training specific to volunteer area.

Requirements:
• Requires experience managing charitable outreach and a heart for the poor and those in need.
• Undergraduate or Graduate Degree, preferably MSW.
• Experience working in a church setting preferred
• Administrative experience preferred
• Comfortable communicating and working with people of all ages
