Description:
The Roman Catholic Diocese of Gary is seeking a passionate communications professional to serve in the role of Digital Communication Strategist. The successful candidate will use contemporary resources to analyze audience behavior and recommend communication strategies to reach and engage people of diverse demographics. This is a hands-on position, which collaborates with ministry leaders and parish administrators to produce and deliver dynamic digital communication.

Requirements:
The Roman Catholic Diocese of Gary is located between Chicago, Illinois and South Bend, Indiana, on the southern end of Lake Michigan. More than 60 parishes and 50 priests serve a Catholic population of nearly 180,000 people in four counties of Northwest Indiana, ranging from ultra-urban neighborhoods to rural landscapes.
Applicants should be capable of working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to respond succinctly to competing priorities and requests. Applicants will be asked to illustrate proven experience delivering strategic digital communication. A bachelor’s degree is preferred but will consider comparable experience.
