Description:
Staff Management:
- Hire, train, schedule, and supervise baristas and support staff.
- Provide leadership and foster a team-oriented environment.
Customer Service:
- Maintain high customer service standards; resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
Operations Oversight:
- Oversee opening and closing procedures, inventory management, cash handling, and equipment maintenance.
Product Quality:
- Ensure consistency in drink and food preparation according to recipes and standards.
Inventory & Ordering:
- Track inventory levels, order supplies, and manage vendor relationships.
Sales & Financials:
- Assist with budgeting, daily sales reporting, and cost control measures.
Cleanliness & Safety:
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment; ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Marketing Support:
- Assist with social media, promotions, and community engagement as needed.
- Must be available to work mornings, weekends as needed.
- This is a hands-on role that requires being on-site during operating hours.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in food service management, preferably in a coffee shop or café setting.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Experience with scheduling, POS systems, and basic financial tracking.
- Food Safety Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Passion for coffee, hospitality, and community building.
