Description:
- Responsible for all financial matters for Parish, School, and all related missions and activities of Our Lady of Perpetual Help (OLPH).
- Manage operations regarding accounting, stewardship, and communications, including workflow, priorities and personnel.
- Direct reports: four full-time employees and one part-time.
- Coordinate implementation of best practices, as defined by the Archdiocese of Chicago (AOC).
- Work closely with the Pastor regarding both short and long term goals of the Parish.
- Work with School Business Manager on best practices for all financial responsibilities, transparency in reporting and information, and general preparation of any data.
- Work directly with the Director of Facilities regarding all aspects of the campus to assure the needs of the Parish are met. This would include review of all capital projects, budget adherence, construction and completion.
Requirements:
- Catholic, with a broad understanding of the inner workings of a parish. Solid knowledge of accounting, budgeting, financial management,cash flow and marketing.
- Proven track record of success in a leadership position overseeing operations of an organization with staff, board, donors and parishioners.
- Experience in leading the process of ongoing strategic planning. Minimum of five years of senior level nonprofit organization experience is preferred.
- CPA or MBA or comparable in the nonprofit arena is preferred.
