There is an immediate opening to fill this position. Will work directly with the Pastor and Parish/School Staff. This individual will also interact with parishioners to ensure that accurate parish information is conveyed to the entire parish community. Timely communication of current parish news, events and relevant parish/school activities will need to be accurately shared with the community. This includes a consistent monitoring/updating of the parish website, marquee and related signage.

The weekly generation of a high quality bulletin will be one of the primary functions of this position. In addition, this Parish Office role will maintain the responsibility of managing the parish calendar of events, manage the scheduling of parish facility space, communication regarding funerals, communicate parish facility problems, and assist in performing general office functions. These include but are not limited to:

  • Answering phones.
  • Sending emails.
  • Communicating with clergy, staff, school and parishioner families.
  • Welcoming visitors.
  • Assisting with event hospitality.
  • Registering new parishioners.
  • Assisting parishioners with Mass intentions

This position is ideally outlined as a full-time position. However, consideration would be given to sufficiently skilled individual with part- time availability


  • High School Graduate - Some College (Preferred)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Required)
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Publisher or Adobe (Preferred)
  • Knowledge of Parish Office environment would be helpful.
  • Must be a responsible individual.
  • Experience proofing documents (Preferred).
  • Willingness to collaborate with others in the design of a weekly bulletin, as well as other parish promotional material.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgement and make editorial decisions with minimal direction.
  • Strong ability to plan and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to be creative while working with different forms of communication.
  • Ability to embrace the Catholic faith in a positive and proactive manner.
