Description:
St. John Berchmans School is seeking a part time (avg. 20 hours / week) Director of Events. The DOE is responsible for planning, promoting and executing three major fundraisers (outlined below) over the course of the academic year. The DOE should be capable of collaborating with and leading a committee of volunteers and working with school administration in the execution of each of the events. The DOE should also be willing and able to proficiently foster relationships with individual donors, foundations and corporations. St. John Berchmans Fall Fest: An all day outdoor, family friendly neighborhood fall festival. Time: September St. John Berchmans Guardian Angel Gala: A semi-formal dinner and live auction. Time: October St. John Berchmans Glimmer Auction: A casual, theme based party with silent auction, drinks, food, dancing and games. Time: Spring In addition to the above named events, the DOE should be willing and capable of coordinating additional smaller scale fundraising and marketing efforts and events, including but not limited to, New Family Wine and Cheese, Sports Banquet, Back to School BBQ & Cookies and Cocoa with Santa.
