Description:

The Parish Stewardship & Development Coordinator (SDC) serves as a fundraising/stewardship professional and parish leader. The SDC is accountable for directing the budgeting for and execution of all financial appeals for Saint Clement Church and School. In addition, the SDC is responsible for ensuring that stewardship messaging is consistent between the church and the school, striving to ensure the focus of financial appeals is based on an understanding of Christian stewardship and the Catholic faith.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree, preferred Graduate degree with concentrations in finance and/or marketing. Professional business experience, minimum of two years direct fundraising experience, preferably within a parish/school setting. This should include experience with marketing/ fundraising communications, as well as knowledge of e-marketing and social media strategies and experience with volunteer management. Strong financial analysis skills, including ability to prepare budgets, strong written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal and management skills, strong interpersonal and management skills, proficient in use of Microsoft Office, especially Word & Excel. Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative skills which lead to working on a team, creative, self-starter with positive, optimistic attitude and ability to multi-task.
