Description:
- Will work in a warm, large Southwest Suburban environment.
- Recruitment of new volunteers for music and liturgy.
- Keyboard, vocal, choir direction, bell choir, knowledge of wide variety of music for worship.
- Play and coordinate all liturgies on weekends for weddings, funerals, holy days and other parish liturgies.
- Coordinate all liturgical ministers.
- Attend staff meetings.
- Work well with all ministries and pastoral staff members.

Requirements:
Saint George Church in Tinley Park is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Director of Liturgy and Music with a deep faith in Jesus Christ and a desire to be a true Disciple in Mission.
- Knowledge of Catholic Liturgy and the great variety of music in our Catholic musical heritage.
- Able to work with people and bring out the best in them.
- Keyboard and vocal skills necessary.
- Ability to attract and organize volunteers.
- Organizational skills a must.
- Willing to work with the pastoral staff.
- Desire to seize the opportunity to build a great liturgy and music program.
