Description:
Responsibilities:
- Develop, organize and lead the overall worship and liturgical music ministry.
- Provide piano and organ music and some singing at regularly scheduled weekend English masses, Holy Days of Obligation, weddings, funerals, and sacramental and liturgical celebrations.
- Recruit, rehearse and direct both the adult and children’s choir, and cantors.
- Recruit new musicians.
- Manage and create Music Ministry Budget.
- Participate as an active member in collaboration with the Pastoral Staff, Liturgy Committee and parish events.

- This is a part-time, non-benefits eligible position. Salary is commensurate with experience.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Music or related field (Masters Degree preferred).
- A preferred minimum of 4-5 years experience in a liturgical church music setting.
- Board experience and familiarity with Catholic liturgy and music.
- Must be able to pass background check.
- Strong directing abilities, attested musical skills and competent in piano, organ and solo voice are essential.
