Job Title:
Assistant to IT/Media Relations Manager - Part-time: 25 hours/week.
Position Summary:
The Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe is seeking a part-time (25 hours/week) employee to work closely with the IT/Media Relations Manager under the IT/Media Department. Current position is entry level with opportunity to become full time.
Job Responsibilities:
• Edit and maintain websites using WordPress and other platforms.
• Create images and graphics as needed.
• Take photographs during various events and activities and edit in Adobe Lightroom.
• Manage Facebook, and other social media accounts, including content creation, scheduling, and development and placement.
• Film, edit and produce videos using Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
• Livestream to Facebook Live and YouTube using vMix software.
• Schedule and launch webinars using Zoom and YouTube.
• Working with volunteers in a live production environment.
• Perform other related duties as requested.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
• Must embrace the mission of the Roman Catholic Church and the Devotional nature of the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
• Ability to prioritize and multitas
• Familiar with video cameras and DSLRs.
• Familiar with audio editing and recording.
• Ability to work weekends is required.
• Strong interpersonal and writing skills.
• Bilingual English / Spanish
• Works well with others.
Preferred Skills:
• Strong organizational skills.
• Proficient with Macintosh/Apple and PC system.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Knowledge and a good understanding of motion graphics is preferred.
• Familiarity with OBS, vMix, Facebook Live, Youtube or other live stream platforms.
