Description:
The Viatorian Community is seeking qualified applicants for this new full-time position. The coordinator will be tasked with building a network of strong relationships with professed Viatorians, Viatorian associates, and other local leaders in youth and young adult ministry. The coordinator will be expected to stay up to date on professional development and best practices in youth and young adult ministries and effectively communicate findings. The coordinator will support and grow existing programs as well as identify new avenues to strengthen these ministries.
The position is full-time with benefits, based at the Province Center in Arlington Heights, IL. The coordinator will be expected to travel; work some nights, weekends, or overnight trips; and do some work remotely.

Requirements:
Experience in Catholic youth or young adult ministry
Master’s level degree in theology, ministry, peace and justice, or another relevant discipline
Preferred: prior familiarity with and enthusiasm for the Viatorian charism
Academic training in Catholic youth and/or young adult ministry, or the willingness to complete training at a theological institution (such as a certificate via EQSaints)
Ability to travel regularly and productively work remotely
