Description:
The Finance Analyst and Consultant compiles and analyzes annual parish financial reports, provides parish metrics, performs parish financial and operational reviews, and assists parishes, schools, and business managers with financial matters.
•Works directly with and supports the Director of Parish Finance, Auditing, Consulting
•Must support the mission, philosophy, objectives and policies of the Roman Catholic Church and the Diocese of Joliet
Requirements:
• Must have a bachelor’s degree with emphasis in accounting or finance with 5+ years of accounting experience.
•Previous experience with auditing and preparation of financial statements is desirable.
•Knowledge of accounting software (ParishSoft is a plus) and Microsoft Word and Access and advanced level proficiency with Excell required.
•Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
•Detail-oriented self-starter who works effectively with minimal day to day supervision.
•Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
