Description:
The Director of Liturgy and Music (DLM) is a member of the Pastoral Staff and is responsible for the ministry of Worship at St. Sebastian Church. These duties include overseeing liturgical committees and liturgical ministries, and providing musical leadership at all parish weekend/feast masses, all school services, Cluster celebrations as needed, as well as leading all parish liturgical musical groups.

Requirements:
● This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Music or Liturgy or related field, with demonstrated competence in the non-degreed area.
● Experience requirements include working with parish liturgical committees, choirs, instrumentalists, soloists, and children.
● Computer skills, sound equipment experience, general administrative skills and effective communication skills are essential.
● A theology rooted in Vatican II and a good pastoral presence in the community is fundamental to this position.
● Must possess knowledge of Catholic Liturgy.
● Compliant with or gain compliance with Safeguarding All God’s Family.
● Must hold valid driver’s license and have proof of insurance.
