Description:

This position reports to the Associate Director of Campus Ministry. This position requires a flexible work schedule that includes evenings and weekends. Candidates possessing a Master of Divinity or Master of Arts degree in theology, liturgy, or related field, plus five years of pastoral ministry experience are encouraged to apply. Candidates must be practicing Roman Catholics. Other qualifications include knowledge of young adult faith development, ability to articulate Loyola’s Jesuit, Catholic mission, and proven ability to work with students, staff and faculty from diverse faith and cultural backgrounds. Requirements:

The Campus Minister for Catholic Liturgy and Catechesis serves as the primary liturgist for the chapel and university events. This position collaborates with the chapel staff overseeing the daily vibrant liturgical life of the university. Successful candidates have demonstrated experience in catechetical settings, especially working with Sacramental preparation and the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults. Excellent speaking and writing skills are necessary and vital for nourishing the growth of faith life on our campus. The Campus Minister recruits and supervises student staff as well as volunteers for liturgical ministries and enhances their experience through proficient training opportunities.
