In this role, you will… • Thrive in an environment where faith is frequently discussed and share • Manage website experience; keep the design and content fresh, dynamic, and intuitive • Create social media posts to nourish current parishioners and reach the unchurched. Oversee all social media accounts • Create & publish a regular email to the parish • Manage Google business listings, online profiles, and online reviews. Manage online reputation of parish & school and maintain up-to-date information • Create brochures, flyers, banners, print advertisements, and promotional items for events and preaching series • Oversee livestream of Masses and special events • Evaluate vendors, suppliers, professional services, and software solutions • Create press releases and submit press coverage requests • Attend parish staff meetings and fundraiser meetings • Manage promotional events • Record and produce informational videos as well as weekly homily recordings—post on social media platforms • Other duties as assigned If interested in this amazing opportunity, please send a cover letter, resume to jdantuono@notredameparish.org.

Requirements:

Required • Strong personal relationship with Jesus and a deep love for His Church • Must be in the communion of the Catholic Church and intentionally living out the five precepts of the Church (CCC 2041-2043) • Must refrain from promotion of, or the living out of, any conduct or lifestyle that would reflect discredit or disgrace on, or cause scandal in relationship to, the Diocese of Joliet, or considered to be in contradiction with Catholic doctrine or morals • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Thrives in a team environment • A lay apostle (e.g., one who leads and can influence others) Preferred • Fluent with Microsoft Office programs, Constant Contact or similar email marketing service, Google Drive, and Adobe Creative Suite • Experience with WordPress and basic HTML coding • Comfortable in a fast-paced team environment, working with attention to detail and quality • Ability to create a wide range of content through photography, videography, graphic design, and audio recording • Problem solving and technical troubleshooting skills • Writing and copywriting skills, including ability to adapt writing styles to different audiences • Ability to meet deadlines and budget • Strong visual and storytelling ability • Willing to learn, ask for help, communicate directly, and engage with a growth mindset • Experience with Facebook Ads and Google Ads • Strong interpersonal skills and a disposition that is positive and professional • Since this is a ministerial position, must be a practicing Roman Catholic in good standing, and must know, profess and act consistently in accordance with the doctrinal and moral teachings of the Catholic Church, and with the mission, philosophy, objectives and policies of the Diocese of Joliet
