Description:
St. Irene Parish in Warrenville has an immediate opening for a full-time Director of Faith Formation. This position will be responsible for the parish’s faith formation program from Baptismal catechesis through adult formation. The Director will work closely with the pastor to direct the faith formation of children and adults, giving direction to catechesis of the entire parish and vision to evangelization considering the Diocesan focus on missionary discipleship.
Serving as a role model for the parish, the Director of Faith Formation will be a joyful disciple of Jesus Christ, passionate about the Catholic Faith and about living out the Gospel message with intention. The Director must be a creative and energetic individual with excellent communication and organizational skills, and a pastoral visionary.

Requirements:
The Director of Faith Formation must have a Bachelor’s Degree and preferably a Master’s Degree in Theology, Divinity, Religious Studies, or related field. Experience in current theology, education, or pastoral ministry is desirable. Proficiency in Spanish is also a plus.
