Description:
Saint Mary of Gostyn Parish and School of Downers Grove, Illinois, a community of 2,600 families is seeking a full-time Director of Religious Education to perform the following duties:
Direct the Religious Education for grades K-8 of about 500 students.
Wednesdays: 4:30pm-5:35pm & 6:30pm-7:35pm
Thursdays: 4:30pm-5:35pm. Sacramental Coordinator for Parish and School. Coordinate and oversee the preparation of School and Religious Education students for the sacraments of First Reconciliation, First Communion, and Confirmation. Oversee Children’s Liturgy of the Word. Meet on Sundays during the 8 am and 10 am Masses.

Requirements:
Applicants should have previous experience as a Director of Religious Education or its equivalency. Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in Theology, Ministry, or its equivalent are preferred.
