Description:
Four adjoining parishes in northeast DuPage County, IL, (Immaculate Conception, Mary Queen of Heaven, and Visitation, Elmhurst and St. Charles Borromeo, Bensenville) seek an energetic, self-starting, self-motivated, faith-filled candidate with a heart for Catholic youth who is able to 1) engage and recruit youth and volunteers and 2) work with fellow staff in a team-oriented way. This candidate must understand the importance of relational ministry and be able to recruit and train. This experienced youth minister will develop, coordinate, and grow a Youth Ministry Core Team of youth and adult leaders to reach out to the youth of our parishes, inviting and accompanying them into a personal relationship with Jesus that deepens their Catholic faith and forms them as disciples. Requirements:
The ideal candidate will, be a practicing Catholic in good standing, have at least a BA in theology or related field and 3-5 years of experience as a successful youth minister in a Catholic community. Media and technological savvy desired.
