Description:
Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, in Las Cruces, New Mexico, is seeking a dynamic Director of Youth Ministry that is passionate about leading teens and young adults into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church. This position is responsible for Middle and High School Youth Ministry, assisting the Director of Faith Formation with Confirmation preparation, and developing transitional programs for young adults. Building and maintaining relationships is very important in this position, not only with the teens and young adults, but also with parents, parishioners and staff. Requirements:
Candidates should have at least 2 years of Youth Ministry experience and a working knowledge of youth ministry. Candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree in either Theology, Catechetics, Youth Ministry or in another related field. Candidates need to be fluent in English and Spanish. The Director of Youth Ministry directly assists the Director of Faith Formation, and the Pastor in the mission of the parish to be a disciple guiding disciples.
