Description:
This is a full time position. It requires playing for a Saturday Vigil Mass, and two Sunday morning Masses. Providing coverage of music for all funerals [about 90 per year], and weddings [about 30 per year]. The Music Director is part of the parish staff and must attend nearly all weekly staff meetings [Tuesdays at 1:30 P.M.] Salary commensurate with the person's talents, experience, and the job requirements.
Requirements:
Ability to play a pipe organ, sing, direct choirs, work with staff, and minister to families experiencing the sorrow of bereavement and the joy of a wedding.
