Description:
Looking for a part-time (25 hrs/week) Food Pantry/Medical Missions Coordinator. Oversee general operations of the Food Pantry/Medical Missions, coordinating with other volunteer Food Pantry coordinators and working with other parish ministry to recruit volunteers. Coordinate daily volunteer staff on food distribution days and food collection days.
Requirements:
1. Applicants must be outgoing and have strong problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
2. Basic knowledge of word and excel programs is necessary.
3. High school graduate or GED required.
4. Experience in a non-profit environment is a plus.
5. Applicants must be able to react to change productively and handle other essential task as assigned; lift between 30-45lbs, be able to stand for long periods of time and stoop.
6. Bi-lingual (Spanish) is a requirement for this position.
7. Position may require working on the weekend, occasionally.
