Description:
Saint Petronille Parish in Glen Ellyn is seeking an Administrative Assistant/Parish Secretary who will support the Pastor and provide a variety of duties to the parish. This is a Full-time, Benefits, Mon-Thurs 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Fri 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Salary: $45,000 - $50,000 annual. The Administrative Assistant/Parish Secretary will support the Pastor and provide a variety of duties to the parish.
Duties & Responsibilities
• The administrative assistant will be responsible for being present at the front desk: answering phone, greeting visitors and responding to their requests.
• Other duties include maintaining sacramental and parishioner records.
• Secretarial Assistance for pastor and parish ministries, including managing the parish calendar.
• Candidates must have good communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team in coordination with parish staff.

Requirements:
Qualifications
• Office experience required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Publisher required.
• Experience with the Diocese of Joliet software platforms is a plus.
• High school diploma required, higher education, desirable.
• Must support the mission, philosophy, objectives and policies of
St. Petronille Parish, the Catholic Church and the Diocese of
Joliet.
