Description:
The Youth Discipleship Coordinator will have the opportunity to work with a team to create an engaging and inviting program for youth to deepen their relationship with Jesus and with others while learning more about their faith. This coordinator works with the Director of Student Ministry, and is responsible for the engagement of students and their families in parish life and the confirmation program of the parish, including sacramental preparation.
Requirements:
- Experience with youth ministry and curriculum.
- Knowledge of the Catholic faith.
- Able to share faith story.
- Willingness to give first fruits to the ministry.
- Takes initiative, follows up and is teachable.
- Team-building, and utilizing team’s strengths for balance.
- Communicate effectively and clearly in all forms (students, parents, parish, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of office equipment and software/database programs.
- Lives within 40 minutes of Yorkville community.
