The parish community of St. Thomas, Our Lady of the Assumption, St. Jude and St. Stephen is a group of four shared parishes within the Diocese of Madison WI. We are located in Beloit/Clinton, WI. We are a joyful and diverse community sharing personnel, ministries, and resources. The ideal candidate will work closely with the pastor and one part-time assistant director of Hispanic Ministry, to implement a vision of unity among the entire community, serving especially the Hispanic Community in the Spanish language. We have 8 weekend Masses, with one being celebrated in Spanish (11 a.m. Sundays).
Our pastorate community seeks a full-time Director of Hispanic Ministry to evangelize, catechize, and serve through pastoral care ministry and outreach ministry the families of our community. This includes directing efforts in Religious Education, Translating, Youth Ministry, Sacramental Preparation, RCIA, Liturgical Planning, Devotional and Cultural Celebrations, and Pastoral Care. This Director position is a member of the pastoral team with a heart for people and a passion to build the Kingdom of God within the life of our community. This position works closely with the priests, staff, and parishioners.
The ideal candidate is skilled in communication in Spanish and English, living and teaching the Catholic Faith, Community Organization, and serving those in need.
This position is supported by a part time assistant director who will assist and substitute when needed. This is a full time position with benefits and competitive salary. The start date of this position is negotiable.
