Preparing the Way

The Advent theme of this segment of Lifelong Journey is wrapped in the fruits of the Synod on the Family. Notably, as Fr. Louis J. Cameli bridges the journey from the synod to pastoral attentiveness of families, in his new book A New Vision of Family Life, A Reflection on Amoris Laetitia. This book is a treasure for married couples and families. Fr. Cameli guides us into a greater awareness of the presence of God amid the daily lives of families, who are the formators of the domestic church. Listeners will discover how to spiritually internalize a family readiness for the coming celebration of Jesus this Christmas. Takeaways inspire reflection that lead to faith-filled action. Pre-Cana facilitators Jane and Tim OLeary engage listeners in personal stories of Catholic family traditions shared with their family during Advent.
