Blessing of the Ledger Stone
One year following the death of Francis Cardinal George, OMI, Archbishop Emeritus of Chicago, Archbishop Blase J. Cupich blessed the new ledger stone marking Cardinal George's grave at All Saints Cemetery & Mausoleum, 700 North River Road in Des Plaines, on Thursday, April 21, at 2 p.m. The ledger grave marker stone was engraved with his Coat of Arms, laid directly on the ground and covered the full length of the area where the Cardinal is buried.
