Description:
This is a full-time position. The position is open on October 1st, but we hope to fill it some weeks earlier for training and transition. It consists of managing the liturgical life of the parish: assigning ministers at liturgies; training liturgical ministers; working with the maintenance staff in caring for the liturgical space and its decor; working with the full time organist in providing workshops for wedding couples; working in training parish wedding planners for wedding rehearsals; planning the liturgical seasons; providing the weekly prayer of the faithful at Masses; providing for special blessings throughout the year. Working with bereaved families on funeral liturgies and worship aides; being present on Saturday evenings, Sunday mornings, throughout Holy Week, as well as Thanksgiving Day morning, on Christmas Eve, and on Christmas morning. Must be highly organized, be able to work well with a variety of people, and with staff.
Requirements:
B.A. Degree.
