BA or BS in Human Resources, or related business discipline, that must include formal academic coursework in compensation and benefits. In-depth knowledge and understanding of current benefits issues and trends, in-depth knowledge and understanding of legal compliance related to benefits. Minimum of 5 years professional-level benefits management experience, including staff supervision, in a mid-size organization. |
Description: |
Administers the Archdiocese’s benefits programs for employees at all parishes, schools and agencies, including but not limited to: health insurance, prescription drug program, dental insurance, defined benefit pension, defined contribution 403(b) pension plan with employer matching contributions, 401(a) Share Plan, basic life insurance, supplemental life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, long-term care and Flexible Spending Accounts. Participates in benefits surveys and conducts market research on trends. Coordinates with other staff as needed in generating data from the Archdiocese’s standardized payroll/HR database system. |
