To Teach Who Christ Is Campaign’s New Transition

The To Teach Who Christ Is campaign has hired a new fundraising firm for the balance of the effort to strengthen parishes, Catholic education and faith formation.

The decision to transition firms was made after examining the campaign’s progress to date and gathering feedback from pastors and lay leaders who had already welcomed To Teach Who Christ Is in their parishes. CCS Fundraising has offices in Chicago, and will be able to provide more local parish-based support and hands-on guidance to the two-thirds of parishes yet to conduct parish-based campaigns.

CCS Fundraising will spend the coming weeks visiting parishes, analyzing all aspects of the campaign and recalibrating the campaign plan. While this transition period will delay the overall timeline, it will ensure success for the remainder of the campaign.

To date, nearly 17,500 households have generously donated more than $121 million toward the $350 million campaign goal.

For more information about the campaign’s transition, please see the article from the July 13 issue of the Catholic New World.
