Justice Day 2010 — Saturday October 2 Panels and Presentations on Catholic Social Teaching

The Office for Peace and Justice and the Chicago Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD) of the Archdiocese of Chicago will present Justice Day 2010 on Saturday, October 2, from 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Basilica, 3121 West Jackson Boulevard in Chicago.

Justice Day 2010 will include panels and presentations by community organizations committed to human life and dignity. The keynote speaker is Paul Simoneau, Director of the Diocese of Knoxville’s Justice and Peace Office. Other participating groups and organizations include M.O.V.E. – Mothers Opposed to Violence Everywhere and the Archdiocesan Department of Parish Life and Formation’s Saint Toribio Romo Immigrant Center.

There is a $15 free-will donation for registration that includes all presentations, speakers and lunch, however, no one will be turned away. Students and teachers with their school I.D. are free.
