Description:
The Latin American Choir Director will accompany the choir each week at 12:30 p.m. Mass and lead a rehearsal at 11:00 a.m. prior to Mass each Sunday. Other required holy days include: Our Lady of Guadalupe, Christmas Day, Señor de Esquipulas, Ash Wednesday, Triduum liturgies, and other liturgies as assigned. For the right candidate, the position could be expanded to include additional opportunities.The Latin American Choir Director reports to the music director.
Requirements:
Strong keyboard skills; experience with and understanding of liturgy; ability to demonstrate vocally, to teach, and to conduct volunteer singers and instruments. Native Spanish speaker preferred; some speaking ability and knowledge of Spanish diction required.
