Description:
English Music Director is responsible for planning appropriate liturgical music at all 5 English masses each weekend and major Holy Day liturgical celebrations at St. Bede Church and St. Denis Church. We are looking for a candidate that can play both piano and organ.
The position will also require an enthusiastic approach to forming an Adult choir as well as a Children's choir at St. Bede School, that will serve both locations.
Candidate must be willing to participate actively as a member of the parish staff, working closely with administrators on budget related issues. Will maintain musical instruments, participate in Parish events, provide music for 1 weekday school liturgy as well as Sacramental celebrations. Will be required to hire professional musicians or replacement cantors when needed.
Requirements:
An outgoing candidate with the knowledge and ability to play both piano and organ. Vocal ability to cantor English Mass. Desire to create and lead a volunteer adult and children's choir. BA preferred
