Description:
Ideal candidate plays a central role in ensuring a smooth, responsive and welcoming office environment. Manages front desk part time staff, as well as facilitate a number of jobs within parish administration. The office manager understands the unique challenges of working in a church and will know how to collaborate with ministry volunteers, parishioners, staff and visitors. Candidate will be well organized, proactive, flexible, and enjoy multi tasking in a fast paced, ever changing faith based environment. Full Time; 40hr a week position with some night and weekend work. Responsibilities:
• Manage day to day operations of front desk and office, including hiring, training and overseeing all aspects of Front Desk Staff
• Assist with Pastor and assistant pastor’s schedules, meetings and correspondence
• Maintain master church calendar for parish and school: schedule meetings and assign rooms
• Facilitate, record and disseminate regular parish staff meetings
• Organize special meetings, lunches, retreats for church staff and schools staff
• Monitor and order office supplies as well as point person for maintenance of office equipment
• Oversee all recording of sacramental records and scheduling of baptisms, weddings and funerals
• Key contact for all weddings and marriage preparation • Manage budget according to plan
• Flexibility; may involve some weekend duties • Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:
• Bachelors degree is preferred
• 4+ years of proven office management, administrative or assistant experience
o Parish Office Management a Plus
• Information technology proficiency with all MS Office Suite, working knowledge of PDS ( Parish Data System) database software, mass emailing knowledge of Mailchimp a plus
• Internet/IT computer network knowledge a plus
• Experience in simple webpage design and maintenance preferred.
