Description:
Through the Renew My Church initiative, the two Old Town parishes of Immaculate Conception & St. Joseph and St. Michael seek a dynamic faith-filled candidate passionate about leading youth into a deeper relationship with Christ and His Church. This individual will encourage and support high school teens and eighth graders in the school and Religious Education programs of these parishes to live as disciples through Catholic Social Teaching, service, and prayer. This is a developing ministry to be shared by two urban parishes. Part-time position. (Approx. 15 hours weekly) Send resume to Kim Rak krak@icsjparish.org by August 19.
Requirements:
Practicing Catholic in good standing with BA in Theology, Ministry or related field or working towards such degree. Knowledge of Catholic Social Teaching a must. One to two years of experience with youth in a Catholic community preferred. Reports to the Director of Religious Education of ICSJ Parish. Media/technology savvy desired.
