Description:
The Assistant to the Coordinator of Faith Formation will be asked to work between 10-15 hours per week between August and May. This includes 2-3 hours of work on Sunday mornings when classes are in session as well as attending catechist meetings on weekday evenings. The primary tasks include record keeping of student information, sacramental records and fees, professional correspondence to parents and catechists, worship aid construction and copying, and a knowledge of technology used in the classrooms.
Requirements:
Must be hospitable, friendly, calm, responsible, communicate well and love children. Must be respectful of confidentiality of parishioner information. Must demonstrate an understanding, respect, and support for Catholic Church teaching, mission, and Religious Education. Must know how to use Publisher, Word, Excel, and ParishSoft. Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
