Position Summary
The Administrative Support Coordinator is responsible for providing courteous and professional front office support to staff and parishioners, as well as support for the Director of Religious Education (RE) and the parish religious education program. The Coordinator anticipates needs and pro-actively maintains the tools and supplies that allow staff to efficiently perform their roles. The Coordinator also provides administrative support to the Religious Ed program as requested by the Director of Religious Ed.
Responsibilities
Front Office Support:
•Collaborate with the parish staff to see that office needs are met. To include office and hospitality supplies.
•Interface in a friendly, hospitable, and supportive fashion with parishioners as needed.
•Print and fold Sunday, Funeral, Wedding and special event Orders of Service.
•Print special booklets, etc. for staff.
•Send mail and packages. Maintain adequate postage in postage machine.
•Keep petty cash stocked and balanced.
•See that office machines and phones are in good working order, reaching out to providers as needed. To include printers, postage machine, folding machine, etc.
•All other responsibilities as assigned.
Religious Ed Support:
•Assist with registrations of RE students.
•Monitor payments of tuition by RE families.
•Monitor attendance of students.
•Coordinate RE course supplies for each week of class.
•Compile sacramental records for RE and St. Clement students preparing for First Communion and Confirmation.
•Assist catechists during Sunday morning classes.
•All other responsibilities as assigned.

•Passionate about and committed to the Mission of the Catholic Church, Saint Clement and the Archdiocese of Chicago.
•Demonstrates understanding, respect and support for Catholic Church teaching, mission and values.
•Practicing Catholic.
•Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent work experience.
•Minimum three years of experience in office management.
•Ability to engage with others and communicate effectively in person and in writing.
•Detail oriented and able to work independently.
•Able to organize workflow and manage variety of tasks concurrently.
