Description:
Lumen Christi Parish in Mequon, Wisconsin is looking for a dynamic and energetic individual to coordinate middle school and high school ministry activities. Join a team that together ministers lifelong formation to the whole Lumen Christi community. Primarily responsible for ministering to the middle school and high school students and their families. Secondary ministry area would include welcoming 5th grade students and their families and launching high school seniors to college and beyond faith leadership. Responsibilities include providing formation classes, sacramental and liturgy preparation for confirmation and other Masses, local service events, outreach trips, and social activities. Work with the Catholic Formation team to plan and facilitate a variety of ministry opportunities to the families of Lumen Christi. Requires working most Sunday evenings and other nights and weekends for activities with youth when they are not in school.
Requirements:
Qualified candidates should hold a degree in theology or related degree. A master’s degree in theology or related field is preferred. The candidate must be a practicing Catholic. A quality candidate would have experience working with young people and be able to articulate a clear vision for comprehensive youth ministry.
