Description:

The Administrative Specialist/Education Programs works closely with both the Executive Director and the Administrative Specialist/Education and Renewal of Certification to project manage or support the implementation of programs, initiatives, activities, and events related to the professional education programs of members. This position is mainly administrative; it is a critical position in carrying out the main mandate of the Association. It requires excellent organizational and communication skills, attention to detail and deadlines, and above-average social skills to accommodate the needs of the membership. Member education support responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Prioritize the implementation of work related to webinars and local events. • Provide administrative support to the Education Advisory Panel. • Respond to member inquiries regarding education programs. • Prepare the Education budgets (local events and webinars). • Update website to include all Education programs, including, but not limited to webinars and local events. • Administrate webinars using ZOOM Webinar platform by contacting and communicating with webinar presenters, handling registration and follow-up webinar evaluations. • Administrate local events through communication with Association members designated to organize a local event and provide administrative support in the planning and implementation. • Maintain database of all educational events (webinars and local events). Performs other tasks as assigned. • Assist in the planning and implementation of the Annual National Conference with availability to travel to on-site planning meeting and national conference and perform tasks as assigned while demonstrating a positive reflection of the NACC national office. Part-Time 20 hours weekly, non-exempt, hourly pay. Some flexibility of hours will be needed depending on education offerings. This job may be a virtual opportunity. Requirements:

• High school diploma required, associate or bachelor’s degree preferred. • A minimum of three years of administrative support experience. • Openness and ability to work for a Catholic mission association. Non-profit experience preferred. • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines. • Ability to work independently with little or no supervision. The ability to be flexible, proactive, creative, adaptable, and consistent. • Excellent computer skills: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook, including performing internet searches. • Database experience/proficiency required, Atlas/MemberClicks familiarity preferred.
