Description:
Opportunity for a dynamic individual with strategic thinking abilities and a passion for Catholic Ministry to lead the continuing growth of the Mission of the National Association of Catholic Chaplains.
Provide senior executive leadership and management for the National Association of Catholic Chaplains, a professional, non-profit organization that certifies, educates, and supports chaplains and those in professional pastoral care ministry on behalf of the Catholic Church.
The Executive Director reports to the NACC Board of Directors and serves as NACC liaison to the USCCB.
Requirements:
• is a member of the Roman Catholic Church in good standing with a thorough understanding of current theology, ecclesiology, spiritual and sacramental practices within the Roman Catholic tradition.
• holds a graduate degree in theology or equivalent degree.
• has demonstrated experience in senior executive, supervisory, and business management.
• has demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a broad spectrum of constituencies including: NACC Board of Directors, NACC volunteer leaders, and members, US Bishops, Catholic Health Association, mission leaders within Catholic healthcare organizations, Strategic Partners in Professional Chaplaincy, and potential donors.
