Description:

Bellarmine Jesuit Retreat House in Barrington, Illinois is seeking an enthusiastic, organized, and detail-oriented self-starter to serve as an Office Coordinator. This person will have a passion for faith-based work, a fun and welcoming spirit, and proven success working in a professional environment. The successful candidate will: • Enjoy communicating across generations and demographics, by phone, in writing, and in person • Show an ability to exercise good judgment, discretion, and confidentiality • Schedule, calendar, and track meetings and events; • Manage and organize multiple projects simultaneously; • Demonstrate success organizing projects and meeting deadlines; • Efficiently use Microsoft Office,especially Excel and Word • Be comfortable using Social Media and posting messages (Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter,) and editing website content • Update and create database records • Purchase supplies and maintain office equipment • Send emails via an enterprise email management tool Compensation: Depending on experience and salary history This is an hourly position with an estimated 40 hours per week, with a few evenings and occasional weekends required for meetings and special events that reports to the Associate Director Start Date: As soon as possible, based on availability after completing a background check, Virtus training, and reference check. Requirements:

• Possess an undergraduate degree and some professional work experience answering phones, working in a database, with Micrsoft word and excel and usingg email and social media daily • Have knowledge of, or a desire to grow, in Ignatian Spirituality and work in a Catholic setting with a team that prays together
