Description:

Responsibilities The Development Administrative Assistant is responsible for the following activities: Preparation and distribution of all Campaign mailings, reports, pledge reminders, thank you letters, late payment notices, etc. Attendance of meetings of the campaign committees, take notes and distribute minutes. Reminder calls and/or mailing notices to all meeting attendees. Preparation of materials and refreshments for meetings as needed. Follow-up with committee members regarding assigned tasks and completion dates. Data entry, maintenance, and management of all Campaign pledge information and gifts received in accordance with established database procedures. Inventory management and control of supplies and literature. Weekly follow-up calls to volunteers and preparation of status reports. Coordination of cultivation and group solicitation functions, including interaction with event hosts. Placement of follow-up calls to prospective volunteers. Participation in volunteer training sessions, if requested. Communication with/response to donors, as needed. Interaction with vendors, staff and other individuals necessary for the successful completion of Campaign tasks.

Requirements:

The Development Administrative Assistant is an integral member of the Capital Campaign team reporting to the Executive Director and campaign consultant. This individual also works in tandem with the Development staff and Campaign leadership. The Administrative Assistant will act as chief liaison between the Retreat House staff and Development team leadership. This person must maintain all giving history and pledge status information in strict confidence. This is a 35-40 hour per week, temporary position over the course of 4-6 months to support the Capital Campaign.
