Description:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Theology or related field is preferred, with at least two years of campus or parish ministry experience. Candidate must be able to collaborate well with staff and exhibit strong communication skills. Must be a practicing Catholic in good standing and have a thorough knowledge of and belief in Catholic teachings. Flexibility to work some evenings and week-ends (including Sunday evening liturgy) is required. This is a part time (29 hours), non-benefited, exempt position.

The Diocese of Joliet together with Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Elmhurst, is seeking to fill a combined College Campus and Parish Youth Ministry position that provides ministry to students at Elmhurst College and to youth at Immaculate Conception parish. This collaborative position requires a passion for ministry, a commitment to sharing the Gospel message with young people, a heart for evangelization, service and missionary activities and a spirit of enthusiasm, energy and joy. The successful candidate must be committed to develop and coordinate dynamic and age appropriate programming that is in alignment with current professional standards in ministry as well as parish goals, vision of the pastor/parish community and diocesan policies.
