Description:
The Diocese of Joliet is seeking to hire a full-time Associate Director of the Office of Youth Formation. The Associate Director works in collaboration with the Office of Youth Formation to implement a comprehensive vision for the formation of young disciples (birth through high school) with a specific focus on Catholic teen formation and the Domestic Church.
Requirements:
A Master’s degree in related ministry is preferred with a minimum of 5 years teen ministry experience is required; parish experience is a must and diocesan experience is a plus. Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 is required. Knowledge in web design, social media, and/or marketing is a plus along with Spanish writing and speaking skills. This is a ministerial position. The candidate must be a practicing Roman Catholic in good standing. He/she must know, profess and act consistently in accordance with the doctrinal and moral teachings of the Catholic Church, and with the mission, philosophy, objectives and policies of the Diocese of Joliet.
