Description:
Saint Stephen, Deacon & Martyr, Church, a vibrant faith community of 4500+ families, in Tinley Park, Illinois, is seeking an part-time Music Director who embraces the spirituality of Vatican II and has an appreciation for diverse styles of liturgical music and has a music degree or equivalent experience. The ideal candidate would be a practicing Roman Catholic, have prior experience as a music director and be capable of playing both organ and piano. Responsibilities will include: providing music for Sunday, Holy Day, and Holidays; recruit, train and oversee Adult Choir and establish a Resurrection Funeral Choir and a Cantor Program: and be part of the parish staff; Salary commensurate with experience. Position available immediately.
