Description:
Catholic Theological Union (CTU), a graduate school of theology and ministry in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Chicago, is searching for a part-time accounting position to help support its Business Office. The part-time accountant will perform day-to-day accounting duties, including accounts payable functions, invoicing/billing, filing, and other duties required to support the office.
Requirements:
Preferred skills for the position include; prior experience and knowledge of defined work areas, accuracy, and possess excellent computer skills (e.g., Excel, word, etc.). Successful candidates will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. We are seeking individuals who can work effectively as part of a team, as well as work well independently. Candidates must be comfortable working in a Catholic institution of higher learning, able to work well in a collegial manner in achieving the mission of the school.
