Description:

Trinity High School in River Forest, IL, is seeking a full time Spanish teacher for the 2018-19 school year. The Spanish teacher is responsible for planning, instruction, activities and assessments based on a college preparatory and International Baccalaureate program. Teachers are tasked with creating an integrated instructional program that supports an inclusion-based learning approach fostering a safe environment that respects academic and cultural diversity. Additionally, teachers are expected to work together in Professional Learning Communities (PLC) with other teachers and support professionals in a collaborative manner to provide teaching strategies and methods that address a wide range of learning styles, individual needs, interests, abilities, and maturity level of students. Trinity High School is a Roman Catholic, Sinsinawa Dominican High School for girls located west of the city of Chicago. Trinity is an International Baccalaureate school with a near 100 year history of educating young women who embrace knowledge, faith, and strength as global citizens of the twenty first century.

Requirements:

Spanish – Trinity High School, River Forest IL Minimum Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Spanish (Master’s degree preferred) • Certification: Illinois Professional Educator License: Spanish 9-12 • Prior knowledge of International Baccalaureate Program preferred
