Description:

As part of the pastoral staff reporting to the pastor, the principal will serve as chief administrator of the school and perform the duties and responsibilities commensurate with that office. Key responsibilities include fostering a Catholic atmosphere, curriculum development, faculty/staff supervision, expense management, school plant administration, development/fundraising and public relations with the school and parish community. The principal is expected to work with both the Archdiocesan Schools Office including the implementation of their policies and the SJV School Committee as his or her advisory board.

Requirements:

Masters degree in School Leadership or School Administration, grades 4K-8. Masters or Bachelors degree in Elementary Education 4K-8. Compliance with current Archdiocesan standards relative to “Safeguarding All God’s Family” Program. Prior experience as a 4K – 8 school principal, preferably in Catholic Education. Practicing Catholic. Prior experience in Catholic Spiritual Development Curriculum. Experience developing educational curriculum. Active in organizations that directly relate to the role of Catholic School principal. State of Wisconsin Certification: License in the Area of Elementary Administration/School Leadership 4K-8.
