Description:

The Redemptorists of the Denver Province, a non-profit group of Roman Catholic missionaries ministering throughout the western United States, has an immediate need for an experienced administrative assistant to help coordinate the efforts of the Provincial Leadership Team located in Chicago, Illinois. The ideal candidate is a highly self-motivated professional capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing projects to meet deadlines, with demonstrated flexibility to accommodate workload interruptions and changing priorities. A high level of discretion and confidentiality is essential, as well as knowledge of the structure, hierarchy, protocol and basic doctrines of the Catholic Church. Job duties: General receptionist and various office responsibilities, as requested. General filing and records maintenance. Organization and updating of Personnel files. Maintains the Master Personnel database and mailing list. Prepares and mails Letters of Good Standing. Handles regular internal email notifications for the Leadership Team, as requested. Prepares and mails documentation to Rome, as needed. Handles correspondence with Bishops and other Diocesan officials, as needed Prepares internal mass mailings at specified times of the year. Prepares and arranges overnight mailings, as needed. Responds to internal membership requests for information. Assists the Leadership Team with general tasks, as requested. Requirements:

Full proficiency in Office 365, Word, and Adobe Professional. Exceptional organizational and time management skills. Proper grammar, punction and spelling and correct use of English language in writing and conversation. Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work well with others; high level of diplomacy, discretion and confidentiality is essential. Flexibility to multi-task and change work priorities as needed to meet deadlines. Knowledge of Catholic Church structure, hierarchy, protocol and basic doctrine.
