Position Summary:

 

The O365 Training Specialist is responsible for creating and implementing training strategies for AOC employees, with a particular focus on Renew My Church (RMC)* parishes. S/he is responsible for ensuring parishes are appropriately onboarded to O365 and all staff are trained. S/he will also create all required training materials, process improvements and roadmaps needed to ensure success. The O365 Training Specialist will be a part of the IT O365 team and will report to the IT Solutions Specialist to ensure continued creative and collaborative use of our Microsoft environment.

Responsibilities:

* Train parishes on O365 solutions. This will include in-person training, webinars, training videos, drafting of quick reference guides (QRGs), knowledge base articles and other supporting training materials.

* Work with RMC Project Managers to ensure a smooth transition from parish to RMC parish. Develop appropriate timelines and roadmaps and manage RMC relationships closely.

* Grow the adoption the AoC O365 email as the sole email used by parishes.

* Troubleshoot issues parishes have with their O365 accounts, from provisioning to day-to-day use. Problem-solve and create process improvements.

* Work with IT O365 team on on-going O365 updates, upgrades, and issues; understand the O365 roadmap and stay on top of changes; update all documentation as O365 changes roll out.

Requirements:

* Bachelor’s degree in communications, business, or service administration OR 2+ years in similar role.

* Proficiency with core Microsoft products and Office 365 products including Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams, One Drive, SharePoint and Forms.

* Strong writing skills and ability to write in multiple tones of voice and formats.

* Strong client focused ethic and ability to work with a wide variety of people at varying proficiency levels.

* Proven multi-tasking skills.

* Ability to think creatively and strategically when it comes to understanding client requirements, problem solving and task management.

* Ability to develop strong internal and external partnerships and relationships.

* Detail-oriented self-starter who works effectively with minimal day-to-day supervision.

* Strong organizational skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills
