The Solutions Specialist is responsible for managing and increasing staff engagement with our Microsoft Suite with emphasis on leveraging Office 365 cloud-based solutions. S/he will be responsible for employee engagement with AOC staff with the goal of facilitating productivity through use of Microsoft-based solutions. S/he will proactively work with leadership and other departments to address current workflows needing improvement and act as the point person for all interactions. The Solutions Specialist will work closely with our engineering team to architect solutions and will report to the CIO to ensure continued creative and collaborative use of our Microsoft environment.


  • Identify and implement methods to increase Microsoft adoption and to promote innovation and efficiency in organization-wide use of all tools available
  • Create and implement roadmap for expansion of use of Microsoft tools across AOC departments and organizations
  • Partner with AOC leadership to roll-out initiatives and training
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to prioritize key projects and development pipeline
  • Lead and maintain the internal Microsoft ambassadors' program as a train-the-trainer model within each department
  • Manage a small team (1-2 staff) focused on O365 adoption




  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, business, or service administration or 2+ years in similar role
  • Proficiency with core Microsoft products and Office 365 products including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint and Forms
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft’s Power Platform preferred
  • Strong client focused ethic
  • Proven multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically when it comes to understanding client requirements, problem solving and task management
  • Ability to develop strong internal and external partnerships and relationships
  • Detail-oriented self-starter who works effectively with minimal day-to-day supervision
  • Strong organizational skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills
